Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Manager-in-training-style role to assist the Store Manager in leading daily operations across departments and human resources.

You will help plan, schedule, and execute merchandising initiatives while maintaining Kroger’s reputation for service and safety. The role emphasizes coaching, use of KPIs, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing leadership development in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or similar role.
• Proven ability to coach and develop associates toward customer service and business goals.
• Experience using KPIs, data insights, and metrics to support decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence store performance.
• Track record of improving customer experience, sales, and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead teams in planning and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans to address survey results and store opportunities.
• Identify opportunities with departments and implement timely solutions.
• Demonstrate superior customer service and resolve issues.
• Support store manager in financial discussions and budgeting efforts.
• Drive sales, reduce shrink, and improve departmental contributions.
• Coordinate with department heads and field staff to meet goals.
• Foster inclusive leadership and build relationships with community organizations.
