Job summary

Baseten is seeking a high-energy Partnerships role focused on the emerging cloud and international compute market. You will own the full lifecycle from first outreach to closed terms, building and managing relationships with a diverse set of providers and driving rapid opportunities.

You will collaborate with Supply and Deals functions to structure favorable terms, craft tailored value propositions, and operate with significant autonomy in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Equal parts relationship-builder and operator — you can open a door and drive it to a closed deal.
• Background as a broker or market participant in compute/cloud is a plus, but we're seeking relationship-builders, not high-pressure sales.
• Creative thinkers who build strong rapport with all levels of an organization.
• Comfortable with equity upside and building something from scratch, not only cash-heavy comp.
• Self-directed and high-energy, thriving with autonomy in a fast-changing market.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a real-time picture of emerging cloud and international compute landscape — who's active, what they're building, and terms available.
• Own the full partnership lifecycle — sourcing providers, negotiating terms, and ongoing relationship management.
• Develop relationships across providers, from account reps to leadership.
• Identify and close opportunities where Baseten can move quickly to secure favorable capacity terms.
• Define compelling value propositions tailored to provider types, not one-size-fits-all pitches.
• Collaborate with teams to build an intelligence and relationship function.
• Support negotiation when opportunities are brought to the table and ready to close.
