Job summary

Baseten is building a Partnerships/ Supply role focused on emerging cloud and international compute markets. You will own the full relationship lifecycle from first outreach to closed terms, sourcing providers and negotiating favorable capacity terms.

You will develop targeted value propositions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and operate with autonomy in a fast-evolving market. This is a hands-on role with high visibility and equity upside as Baseten scales.

Qualifications

• Young and scrappy—early in your career but ready to move fast and hustle.
• Equal parts relationship-builder and operator—open doors and close deals.
• Background as broker or market participant in compute/cloud space is a plus.
• Creative-thinkers with ability to build strong rapport across levels.
• Comfortable with equity upside for building something from scratch, not just cash heavy.
• Self-directed and high-energy; thrives with autonomy in a fast-changing market.

Responsibilities

• Build real-time picture of emerging cloud and international compute landscape—active players, offerings, and terms.
• Own the full partnership lifecycle—identify providers, negotiate terms, manage ongoing relationships.
• Develop relationships across providers from account reps to leadership.
• Identify and help close opportunities for Baseten to secure favorable capacity terms.
• Define compelling value propositions tailored to provider types, avoiding a one-size-fits-all pitch.
• Collaborate with team to build durable intelligence and relationship function.
• Support negotiations with Supply and Deals teams to close opportunities.
