Job summary

Worldpac is seeking an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to learn all branch operations and assist the Branch Operations Manager in directing daily activities within the branch location.

You will support staffing, training, performance reviews, expense management and budgeting, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain a customer‑service oriented approach while coordinating with other departments to keep the warehouse running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Education: High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Be available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed).
• Meet all applicable driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties.
• Understands staffing requirements and the ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, assumes responsibility for day-to-day activities and operations of the branch.
• Reviews, understands and follows company safety and security procedures, and serves as a role model to ensure compliance by all team members.
• Supports team members in their training and development and enables immediate application to daily work.
• Maintains a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members.
• Assists Branch Operations Manager to learn all functions of Branch Management, including operations, staffing, training, reviewing team member performance, expense management and budgeting.
• Uses vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
• Other duties may be assigned.
