Job summary

Worldpac is seeking an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to learn all branch operations and assist the Branch Operations Manager with daily direction to the team within the Burr Ridge location.

The role requires leadership experience in a warehouse setting, strong MS Office skills, English fluency, and a willingness to learn all functions including staffing, budgeting, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse-related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Be available to open and close the warehouse, Mon–Fri, and Saturdays as needed.
• Meet all state/province-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle.
• Proficient with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Extremely organized with strong prioritization skills.
• Understands staffing requirements and branch functions.
• Have knowledge of P&L and budgeting basics.
• Willing to obtain powered equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, assume day-to-day branch activities.
• Review and follow company safety procedures and model compliance.
• Support training and development for team members.
• Maintain a customer-service oriented philosophy in daily work.
• Assist learning all Branch Management functions including operations, staffing, training, budgeting.
• Use vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returns safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
