Job summary

VEG seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team in North Carolina. You will work with doctors to triage, treat, and monitor a wide range of emergencies, including exotics, in open-concept hospitals.

You will provide compassionate nursing care, use advanced techniques, and support pet parents during stressful times. We emphasize mentorship, ongoing CE, and growth within our ER team.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located is required.
• 1+ years of experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and treatments for emergencies.
• Triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing.
• Support pet parents with clear, compassionate communication.
• Assist with equipment handling and maintaining patient comfort.
