Veterinary Emergency Group The PC is seeking a Veterinary Nursing Manager for the St. Charles, IL area. You will lead a nursing team in a fast-paced ER, emphasize patient care, staff development, and seamless hospital operations.

You will mentor clinicians, oversee scheduling, drive quality standards, and collaborate with hospital leadership to deliver exceptional care for pets and families.

Qualifications

• CVT, RVT, or LVT credential in the practicing state.
• Minimum 5+ years of clinical veterinary nursing; emergency experience preferred.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day nursing team operations and ensure clinicians have tools to excel.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Address patient care issues with empathy while maintaining medical standards.
• Partner with hospital leadership to optimize patient flow and care quality.
• Lead staff development through training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
