VEG ER for Pets is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead a veterinary nursing team in our fast-paced ER environment in Illinois. You will empower staff, drive patient care excellence, and align operations with VEG values.
You will mentor VEGgies, oversee scheduling, onboarding, licensure, and education programs, and partner with hospital leadership to optimize flow. This leadership role offers growth and meaningful impact for you and the team.
Competenze
- Must be a credentialed veterinary technician in the state of the practice.
- AVMA-accredited degree (AS/BS) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years in clinical veterinary nursing; emergency experience preferred; 2+ years in leadership.
Mansioni
- Manage day-to-day flow for nursing team with tools and support.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll, productivity, hiring, onboarding and offboarding.
- Address patient care issues and team dynamics with empathy.
- Partner with hospital leadership to align goals and hospital flow.
- Lead with VEG values and mentor staff.
- Ensure licensure and education programs are upheld across the team.
- Drive meaningful 1:1s, check-ins, and student mentorship for growth.
