Job summary

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Weekday Evening Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the first point of contact for clients in a fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital.

You will greet clients, handle calls, coordinate scheduling, and support the veterinary team with clear communication and organized patient flow under the direction of the medical staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary receptionist or CSR preferred.
• Experience in a veterinary emergency hospital, specialty hospital, or fast-paced clinic is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with high empathy and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets in a compassionate, professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to client questions, and provide veterinary customer service.
• Schedule and coordinate emergency visits, specialty consultations, and rechecks; triage calls and admissions.
• Enter patient information into the EMR and maintain accurate records; coordinate with front desk and clinical teams.
• Assist with financial transactions, explain estimates, and discuss payment policies.
