Job summary

Veterinary Care & Specialty Group (VCSG) in Chattanooga, TN, seeks a Client Service Representative to welcome clients, triage calls, and manage patient intake and discharge with empathy and efficiency. The CSR supports the veterinary team and maintains accurate records in a fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital.

This on-site role requires flexibility to work Friday through Monday, 8am–5pm, and offers competitive pay with weekend differentials, generous PTO, and a supportive team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and compassionate during emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills under pressure.
• Experience in veterinary reception preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with empathy and professionalism.
• Triage incoming calls and determine appropriate response based on emergency protocols.
• Gather and verify client and patient information; ensure accurate data entry.
• Manage emotionally charged situations with compassion and clarity.
• Process payments, estimates, invoices, and medical records.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception and lobby areas.
• Act as a liaison between the veterinary team and clients.
