VEG ER for Pets in Indianapolis is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You’ll manage a broad range of emergencies, performing triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet guardians through stressful moments.

This role emphasizes mentorship, ongoing CE, and a culture of learning, empathy, and teamwork. Flexibility with nights/weekends helps meet hospital needs and patient care demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) in the practice state required.
• Experience in emergency or specialty medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Handle diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care duties.
• Assist with meds, IVs, CRIs, transfusions, and treatments.
• Communicate clearly with team and pet guardians to guide care.
