Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Palo Alto to join a fast-paced, front-line care team. You'll handle a wide range of emergency cases, perform triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents.

The role offers mentorship, learning opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package; you must be CVT/RVT/LVMT eligible, with 1+ year emergency experience, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVMT credential in the state of VEG practice is required; VTS in ECC or anesthesia is a plus.
• 1+ year veterinary technician experience, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emergency treatments from triage to discharge.
• Assist in diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors to deliver compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their families.
• Use advanced techniques and equipment to support patient care.
• Maintain clear communication and teamwork during high-stress emergencies.
