Job summary

VEG for Pets in Maple Grove, Minnesota, seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced emergency team. You will triage, treat, monitor, and provide compassionate care for a wide range of urgent cases, collaborating closely with veterinarians and staff.

The role requires a CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential and 1+ year of experience, with AVMA-accredited program preferred. Expect night and weekend shifts, a dynamic team, and opportunities for growth in a high-energy ER

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge
• Deliver treatments, monitoring, and care during emergencies
• Administer medications, IVs, CRIs, transfusions as needed
• Collaborate with doctors to plan and adjust care
• Perform diagnostics, imaging, and sample collection
• Assist with anesthesia and critical care procedures
• Prepare for and perform CPR as needed
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as available
