Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You will handle a wide range of emergencies, collaborate with doctors, and deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care for pets and their families.

You will engage in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while maintaining a supportive presence for clients during stressful moments. Growth and mentorship are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA-accredited program is strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of the VEG practice is required; VTS in ECC, internal medicine or anesthesia/analgesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Perform treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care procedures.
• Support doctors and team with compassionate communication to pet parents.
