Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Eden Prairie, MN. In this fast-paced ER setting you’ll provide critical nursing care from triage to discharge, assist with diagnostics and anesthesia, and support doctors while maintaining compassionate care for pets and families.

You’ll work nights and weekends as needed, thrive in a team environment, and grow clinically through guidance, mentorship, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must have AVMA-accredited veterinary tech training and state credential.
• Excellent communication and able to handle stressful situations.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong teamwork and compassionate patient care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Administer medications, IVs, transfusions, and CPR as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain flow of care.
• Perform advanced techniques and support for anxious patients.
