VEG is the veterinary Emergency Group delivering fast, compassionate care for pets in their most urgent moments. This role supports doctors and teams on the front lines, delivering triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing with empathy.

As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you’ll provide high‑quality care, communicate clearly with pet parents, and grow your skills in a fast‑paced, supportive environment that values learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in state required.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure.
• Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 kg.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in noisy environments with odors.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, and sample collection.
• Communicate plans with the team and support smooth care flow.
• Perform CPR and other emergency procedures as trained.
• Utilize advanced techniques and tools as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver gold-standard care.
