Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line team in Minnesota. You’ll work alongside doctors and techs across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.

You must be CVT/RVT/LVT in the state, AVMA-accredited program preferred, and have 1+ year ER or specialty experience. We offer learning, mentorship, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a growing 24/7 ER network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) in the state of practice.
• 1+ year of experience in emergency or specialty veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support during emergencies.
• Assist doctors and maintain clear communication within the team.
• Handle IVs, CRIs, blood products, and sample collection as needed.
• Perform CPR and use advanced techniques when required.
• Operate diagnostics and imaging and support tubing placement.
