Job summary

VEG is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will work with doctors to deliver gold-standard, compassionate care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing.

Ideal candidates have a CVT/RVT/LVMT credential, 1+ year of ER or specialty experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited tech degree preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVMT) in the practicing state required; VTS is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Administer medications, IVs, monitoring, and critical care interventions.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain smooth care flow.
