Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join its front-line emergency team. You will handle a wide range of cases, assist doctors, perform triage, treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents through stressful moments.

This role requires a CVT/RVT/LVT in the state, AVMA-accredited education preferred, and 1+ year of ER or specialty experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure; ready to lend a hand to support those around you.
• Fine motor skills for handling patients and medical equipment.
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and lift up to 25 kg on own with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Treat every patient and person like they matter; provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support in critical moments.
• Perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, sampling, and advanced procedures (IVs, CRIs, transfusions).
