Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will handle a wide range of cases, from triage to critical care, collaborating with doctors to deliver compassionate, gold-standard care.

You should have a VET tech credential, ER experience, and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Compensation reflects base pay and growth opportunities at VEG.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a veterinary technician in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure; ready to lend a hand to support those around you.

Responsibilities

• Treat every patient and person like they matter—you keep people and pets together.
• Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Communicate as a teammate and help shape care plans for smooth flow.
• Perform CPR as needed and contribute to RECOVER CPR training.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and placement of tubes.
