Job summary

A New Leaf, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Faith House Emergency Shelter, ensuring safe, trauma-informed, participant-centered services and robust 24-hour operations.

You will manage program operations, staff performance, reporting, compliance, and budgeting in partnership with the Program Director. The role requires leadership in securing high-quality service delivery, staff development, and collaboration with internal teams and community partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years in human services, behavioral health, shelter or related operations.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, crisis intervention, and client-centered service delivery.
• Experience with program reporting, data management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting grants, contracts, audits, or funder reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for daily program operations and 24-hour shelter oversight.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate supervisory staff and ensure professional development.
• Oversee staffing levels, schedules, workloads, and coverage for 24-hour operations.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and corrective action for staff.
• Ensure timely orientation, competencies, evaluations, and required training.
• Provide guidance to supervisors on staff performance and operational issues.
• Make independent decisions within authority on operations and safety.
