Job summary

Courage Connection is seeking a full-time program supervisor to oversee the Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing Programs for domestic violence survivors. The role includes supervising client advocates and a children’s case manager, ensuring survivor-centered, high-quality services, and compliance with funding requirements.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules and documentation in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility for evenings

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in social services, supervisory, administrative and team development experience.
• Experience supervising, hiring, mentoring, and training employees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff and community partners.
• Understanding dynamics of domestic violence and survivor-centered services.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and management to shelter and housing programs 365 days a year.
• Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate staff and ensure client advocacy and service excellence.
• Create and manage Client Advocate schedules and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements and documentation standards.
• Engage in activities to raise public awareness about domestic violence.
