Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• ALS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN delivers safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and coordinates activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Responds quickly to changes in patient status and adheres to EMTALA and privacy rules.
