Job summary

St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services team on the night shift (7p–7:30a). The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality patient care in Telemetry, with direct patient contact and family teaching guidance.

A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, with detailed eligibility discussed during interviews. The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, BLS, ALS, PALS/ENPC, and preferably a BSN.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ALS certification upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification and/or ENPC within 60 days and maintained.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
