Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• At least one year of RN experience upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license for TX upon hire.
• Basic Life Support – CPR within 14 days.
• Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition, providing nursing care to meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs, notifying doctors of changes.
• Planning: Designs, directs, evaluates and documents the care plan and discharge plans, coordinating with other disciplines.
• Implementation: Prepares patients for treatments, reports significant changes, and implements safety and medication protocols.
• Evaluation: Reassesses patients after interventions and adjusts care as needed.
• Report Skills: Delivers bedside shift reports and ensures continuity of care across shifts.
• Environment & Patient Safety: Maintains safe environment, promptly reports hazards and safety concerns.
