Job summary

St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin in East Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care across the care continuum.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, Texas RN license, and CPR/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Of Nursing required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current TX RN license upon hire.
• CPR certification required within 14 days.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• PALS within 6 months.
• TNCC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Perform admission and ongoing assessment of patients, meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Planning: Design, direct, evaluate and document care plans and discharge transitions with the team.
• Implementation: Prepare patients for treatments, report changes, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Evaluation: Reassess patients and modify care as needed.
• Report Skills: Provide comprehensive bedside reports to oncoming shifts and families.
