Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Banner University Medical Center South Campus in Tucson, AZ. This full-time, night-shift role offers the opportunity to deliver skilled nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

The position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus for ED experience, night differential of 18%, and a 2-year commitment expectation. You will assess, plan, implement and document patient care according to standards while participating in

Qualifications

Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
BLS certification is required.
Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Experience in the Emergency Department is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and discharge planning.
Formulate and revise plan of care with input from patient and health team.
Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the healthcare team.
Document care, interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
Promote evidence-based nursing practice and participate in department improvement initiatives.
