Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Tucson, AZ. This staff position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 based on eligibility.

The RN will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and assist with discharge planning while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: One year as an RN.
• Licensure: Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to obtain AZ license in 30 days.
• BLS certification required.
• American Heart Association and department-specific requirements as noted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Document care and communicate patient status.
• Coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team.
• Ensure patient safety and medication administration.
