Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The position runs a mid shift from 1pm to 1am, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible experienced RNs.

The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and nurses, and ensure safety and quality through established protocols. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, life-saving interventions, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BCLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care setting.
• Emergency care skills including triage, CPR, and rapid assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and team for care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and discharge plans.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
