Job summary

HonorHealth Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Emergency Department. The RN collaborates with physicians, performs assessments, administers medications and IV therapy, and develops care plans.

Prior ER RN experience is preferred and a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for eligible candidates. Ideal candidates hold a BSN within 60 months or have 5+ years of RN experience, with an Associates or Diploma in Nursing

Qualifications

• BSN within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years RN experience (including direct patient care or indirect RN roles) at the time of hire.
• Required Associates or Diploma in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and medications, including IV therapy and monitoring.
• Document patient data and care plans, and coordinate with physicians.
• Educate patients and families on care needs and home management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Precept and mentor new staff and students where applicable.
• Ensure safety, ethical practice, and adherence to standards and regulations.
