Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Steele Creek Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC. You will provide comprehensive patient care during a 7p-7a shift, supporting high-acuity patients in a busy ED with 12 beds and dedicated pediatric and adult resuscitation rooms.

Requires nursing program completion, state RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1 year of inpatient critical care experience. Join a team focused on safe patient care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to ensure safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
