Job summary

Advocate Health's Atrium Health Anson Emergency Department in North Carolina seeks an experienced RN to join our 7pm–7am night shift. This 36-hour weekly full-time role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the state.

The 15-bed rural ED delivers coordinated, compassionate care in a close-knit community. The RN will coordinate patient care through the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and help maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Nursing program completion

Registered Nurse license (state)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

ACLS within 6 months

Inpatient RN experience (1 year preferred)
