Job summary

Advocate Health’s SouthPark Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced RN for full-time night shift (7p–7a) in a Magnet-designated ED. The team delivers 24/7 emergency services and is affiliated with a Level I trauma center, focusing on patient-centered, high-quality care.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program, active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 6+ months RN experience; CCU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum
