Job summary

Advocate Health’s Emergency Department in Huntersville is seeking an experienced RN to join a 36-hour weekly night shift (7P-7A). You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced ED environment.

Requirements include graduation from a Board of Nursing approved program, active RN license in the state, and BLS. Familiarity with EHR systems and a strong commitment to safety and patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans with the team.
