Job summary

Advocate Health’s Atrium Health Union Emergency Department in Monroe, NC seeks a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced ED. This 34-bed unit with a 10-bed Behavioral Health Holding Unit operates 24/7.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, RN license in state, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 6 months of RN experience (new grads not eligible).

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
