Job summary

Advocate Health in the Charlotte region is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department float pool, covering Pineville ED and three freestanding EDs (Steele Creek, Providence, Ballantyne). Regular floating across locations is a core requirement to ensure coverage and patient care across the region.

We require completion of an accredited nursing program, at least 6 months RN ED experience, an active RN license in the state, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire; 2 years ED experience

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months RN ED experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience is required.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in the ED.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure patient safety and quality care.
