Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Steele Creek ED. The unit features 12 beds, pediatric and adult resuscitation areas, and rapid care bays to manage a wide range of acuity levels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and-coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice.
