Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our busy ED team. This full-time role supports 7p–7a shifts across a 36-hour workweek, with a focus on high-quality patient care and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• RN license active and unrestricted in state(s) of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of a board-approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Maintains safety and promotes ethical practice.
• Maintains timely EHR documentation and coordinates with team.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration.
