Job summary

Advocate Health's Steele Creek Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled RN to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced ED. The role emphasizes coordination of care, adherence to standards, and compassionate patient interaction during 7p-7a night shifts.

Requires an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS needed within 6 months of hire. Full-time, 36 hours per week with benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state of practice; BLS certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire; 1 year inpatient critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
