Job summary

T1 Energy in Wilmer, Texas, is seeking an Emergency Dispatch Operator to monitor, coordinate, and respond to security-related activities within our 5GW solar manufacturing facility. You will serve as the central communication hub for security personnel, safety teams, and facility operations to ensure rapid response to incidents.

You will handle CCTV and alarm monitoring, assess and prioritize reports, dispatch officers, maintain situational awareness, and document actions in dispatch logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degrees preferred.
• Experience monitoring CCTV systems.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, emergency comms).
• Assess and prioritize incoming calls, alarms, and incident reports.
• Dispatch security officers and response teams promptly.
• Maintain communications with on-site staff, management, and emergency services.
• Document all incidents and actions in logs and reporting systems.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies (medical, fires, hazardous materials, security breaches).
• Track locations and status of security personnel and resources.
• Provide instructions during emergencies following protocols.
• Escalate incidents to leadership or authorities when required.
• Conduct routine system checks on equipment and communications.
• Support drills and training to improve emergency procedures.
