Qualifications

• Experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as a mental health or behavioral assistant working with adults and/or children.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in stressful situations.
• Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office and electronic clinic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Psychiatric Emergency Empath Unit.
• Support patient assessment, stabilization, and safety in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead social activities and therapeutic milieu activities to promote engagement and treatment goals.
