Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Paramedic for the Full Time Days shift in the Emergency Department. The ED handles about 160 patients daily in a 38-bed unit with stroke and STEMI capabilities, helicopter access, and multiple care pods.

You will work with ED Providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver safe, patient-centered care. Required credentials include BLS, ACLS, and PALS with NIH preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required or within 6 months of start date.
• Licensed Paramedic in GA or National Registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient condition.
• Perform EKGs and start IVs as needed.
• Assist with patient transport between departments.
• Collaborate with ED Providers and nurses for safe patient care.
• Recognize and report arrhythmias or deterioration promptly.
