Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center's Emergency Department in Norcross, GA is seeking a Paramedic for full-time day shifts. You will work in a 38-bed ED that sees about 160 patients daily, coordinating with RN, ED techs and other staff to deliver safe, patient-centered care. Requirements include BLS on hire, ACLS and PALS, with NIH preferred.

Experience as a Paramedic is preferred. Knowledge of medications, IV/IO starts, EKGs, and patient transport is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs and start IVs/IOs; draw blood.
• Transport patients to other departments as needed.
• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care under RN/Physician supervision.
• Work with ED staff to ensure efficient patient flow and clinical care.
