Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Department. This full-time, day-shift role supports patient care across a busy 38-bed ED. You will perform EKGs, start IVs, administer medications, and transport patients under RN/MD supervision.

A strong customer service ethic and teamwork are essential. Required are BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred or required within timeframe; NIH preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred.
• BCLS/BLS required at hire; ACLS and PALS required at hire or within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Must understand IM, sublingual, oral, rectal, nebulized, IV and intravascular meds and interactions.
• Perform EKGs, Foley catheters, start IVs/IOs and draw blood.
• Transport patients to other departments and monitor arrhythmias as needed.
