Job summary

Qualifications

• PMAB or CPI training completed within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months ER nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a defined patient group.
• Assess, plan, intervene and advocate for patients across the continuum of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, plan effectiveness, and readiness for discharge; revise plans as needed.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to students and nurses new to the unit.
• Perform as a PCC (Patient Care Coordinator) as requested by supervisor.
