Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration in San Antonio seeks aMitigation Technician to provide emergency restoration services for fire, water, mold, and storm damage. You stabilise properties, limit further harm, and deliver compassionate service during stressful times.

You’ll respond quickly to calls, perform extraction and drying, and work closely with project managers to protect contents and structure. Field-based, full-time role with strong safety standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain IICRC certification.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to document onsite via smartphone and industry software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess damage.
• Perform water extraction, drying, and mitigation per standards.
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials safely.
• Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize spaces.
• Document progress with photos and notes using PSA and other software.
• Coordinate with project teams to protect belongings and contents.
