Job summary

Acloché LLC in Mattoon, Illinois, seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a hospital-employed position offering $475,000 per year. The role features three 10-hour shifts per day and a double-physician coverage model to reduce burnout.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or immediate eligibility).
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a 32-bed ED.
• Maintain a low pace with fewer than two encounters per hour.
• Coordinate with a second physician for double-coverage.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for high-acuity trauma and cardiac cases to tertiary centers.
• Work a rotation of 15 shifts per month across three 10-hour blocks.
• Coordinate patient care with on-site specialties including psychiatry.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
