Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility.
• DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a modern 32-bed ED.
• Maintain a low patient pace with fewer than two encounters per hour.
• Collaborate with a second on-duty physician for double-coverage.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for high-acuity trauma and cardiac cases.
• Work a rotating schedule of 15 shifts per month across three 10-hour blocks.
• Coordinate patient care with on-site specialties including inpatient psychiatry.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records for all encounters.
