Job summary

RRC Solutions Group seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for a hospital-employed, full-time role in Mattoon, Illinois. The position offers a high earning potential with a $475,000 annual compensation and a double-physician coverage model to reduce burnout.

Shifts are 10 hours across three blocks (6:00 AM–4:00 PM, 1:00 PM–11:00 PM, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM), totaling 15 shifts per month. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or BC/BE with extensive ED experience.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility.
• Valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a 32-bed ED.
• Maintain patient pace with fewer than two encounters per hour.
• Collaborate with a second on-duty physician for double-coverage.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for high-acuity cases to tertiary care.
