Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. (Hagerty) invites experienced Emergency Management Planners to join the Response Cadre on a contracted deployment basis.

These on-call roles support state and local agencies, with deployments typically ranging from 30 days and notice to travel within 24–72 hours. Candidates will advise clients in ICS/NIMS environments, with strong data reporting, office software proficiency, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field.
• Understanding of NIMS/ICS and multi-agency coordination.
• Willing to travel within 24–72 hours of notice and remain deployed for 30 days.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; development of plans, procedures, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advisor in the Planning Section in a government client environment utilizing ICS.
• Research, track data, and create reports for decision-makers.
• Provide administrative support and other tasking in non-planning disciplines as needed.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure mission success.
• Support incident objectives and coordinate with partner agencies and ESFs.
